As part of the State Government's commitment to foster innovation and develop emerging industries, an Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Incubator is being established at the Innovation Centre WA at Technology Park, Bentley – adjoining Curtin University - to provide a physical location for early-stage ICT firms to grow at an accelerated rate through the provision of training, mentoring and office support services.

ICT Incubator Overview

ICT is defined as the development and provision of all hardware and software products and services, plus any services used in conjunction with those products.

The ICT Incubator is a component of the Investment Ready Program, an integrated incentives package designed to assist in the development of emerging technology firms.

Selection for this program is a competitive process with short listed applicants to undergo an initial diagnostic process. This will provide a detailed assessment of the firm's current position, identifying market gaps, strengths and potential growth areas. All firms completing the diagnostic will receive a copy of the diagnostic report, regardless of whether they are selected for further assistance under the Investment Ready Program.
